NMMC and West Side Democrats express appreciation for our Veterans
The West Side Democrats of Bernalillo County are pleased to announce our Veterans Appreciation Picnic from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday July 28, 2018 at the South Valley Academy, 3426 Blake Road SW. Democratic candidates will be there to speak with veterans about their challenges and goals.
This is a family event that features activities for kids, food, live music, and the opportunity to meet Democratic Candidates from both west side and state-wide campaigns. Veteran support organizations will have tables at the event. Sponsors include New Mexico Musicians Coalition and New Mexico Working Families Party. Donations will be accepted for Veterans Integration Centers.
West Side Democrats of Bernalillo County serves the more than 63,000 registered Democrats living on the west side of the County. Our uniting goal is to improve the quality of life for all our residents through grass-roots encouragement and support of people-oriented candidates who push for issues and activities important to the Democratic Party and the West Side Community. Periodically we present panel discussions on topics of importance to New Mexico voters.
